Can Final Year Candidates Of Graduation Apply For the TET 2022 Exam?
TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) is a mandatory qualification exam to apply for teaching jobs in Government schools across India. If an applicant clears this test, they will be eligible to be appointed as a teacher for classes I to XII. The primary objective of the TET examination is to benchmark standards for the recruitment of qualified teachers and enhance the educational institutions’ performance. Who Can Apply for the TET 2022 Exam?
Let’s check the eligibility criteria for the TET 2022 exam, administered by the Central Board of Secondary Education in India:
- The candidates need to clear the 12thgrade and hold a graduation degree from a recognized institute or university, with a minimum of 45% marks.
- The aspirants must obtain a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education or complete any prescribed teacher training course/program.
- The age of the applicants must be 18 years or more.
- No upper age limit for CTET and other TET exams is determined.
