Sometimes all you want is to be immersed in a compelling drama, and Netflix is pleased to help. Netflix is home to some of the most beautifully made and fascinating shows of our time, including shows that are now considered classics (such as Breaking Bad) and Peak TV treasures (such as Hap and Leonard and Mindhunter). Let’s see some of the best drama shows that you can watch on Netflix these days:

Certainly, fans of the outstanding drama series Dynasty are eager to see the fourth season, which is currently available on Netflix, but many are even more interested in learning what the future holds for the series beyond that, which will be revealed in Dynasty season 5. Considering that the CW already has a hefty backlog of shows, some are questioning if there is enough capacity for further episodes of the popular relaunched soap opera.

Following two of America’s wealthiest families, as they battle for control of their children and their fortune, this amazing fictional endeavour is set in the present day. This fascinating cast of characters has been brought to life on the small screen by Elizabeth Gillies, Grant Show, and many more outstanding folks for four seasons, and will soon be five, according to Nexthint’s report, with the subject of when Dynasty season 5 will air still being debated.

The Queen’s Gambit is a drama series with a brief beginning, middle, and finale. This hit Netflix original follows the tale of a young orphan trying to find joy wherever she can, and the characters she encounters along the way. Despite her troubles at home, she becomes a world-renowned chess champion. Anya Taylor-Joy (The Witch) is fantastic, and Scott Frank (who writes and directs every episode) nails it.

If you want to watch a murder mystery drama, try the British programme Broadchurch. The series stars David Tennant and Olivia Colman as detectives investigating the abduction and death of a little child in a fictional English village in Dorset. While the murder mystery aspect is intriguing, the programme does not minimise the individuals’ feelings. The death of this young boy is terrible, and the play does an excellent job exploring the effects on the family and community (fair warning: you will cry a lot).
