Enlist Leading Causes of Climate Change

Climate change is a global concern, and every country – First World Countries and Second World Countries- is being affected by the diverse change in the temperature in the past few decades. There is no doubt in noting that every country has contributed to the rise in temperature, ozone depletion, deforestation, etc. However, some have major contributions, whereas others have minor contributions.

The articles emphasize some of the significant factors that have resulted in such drastic climate changes. Go ahead if you are a climate lover and want to get a basic understanding of the leading causes!

1. Overpopulation has Played a Critical Role in Climate Change

One of the leading causes of climate change is overpopulation. The more population of human beings is mounting, the more need for shelter and food is increasing. For that purpose, millions of trees are cut down for making furniture and paper. The lesser the trees, the lesser would be photosynthesis. Less photosynthesis indicates the accumulation of carbon dioxide gas which leads to temperature change.

2. Abundance of Emissions from Factories and Industries

Major world countries like the United States of America, Canada, India, Japan, and France have abundant factories for making items that are then exported to other countries. Exports of items do improve a country’s economy, but gases emitted by these factories alter the composition of air and cause changes in the climate.

3. Lack of Awareness and Knowledge

Illiteracy and lack of awareness about the consequences of climate change have contributed a lot to the drastic changes. Half of the people do not know the importance of nature and why they should preserve nature. It leads to detrimental actions like proficient use of plastic bags, regular use of automobiles, and the list goes on. Such actions cause changes in the natural environment.

Awareness can be created among the masses by guiding them, raising campaigns, and providing guidance about the jobs to combat climate change. Many companies have taken the initiative to raise awareness, for example, ClimateChangeCareers

4. Regular Use of Automobiles and Vehicles

Trains and buses can be used for making visits to faraway places, and it is completely fine to use a medium for traveling with ease. When people travel to the nearby grocery store in automobiles and personal vehicles, the problem arises. One can walk to nearby places as walking is crucial for maintaining a healthy and robust body. Lesser use of vehicles would lessen the emissions from the environment.

5. Generation of Heat and Electricity by Burning Fossil Fuels

The burning of fossil fuels for electricity generation is one of the leading contributors to climate change. Maximum smoke and detrimental gases are released during the burning of fossil fuels, leading to air contamination. Once the natural composition of air is disrupted, it becomes disastrous for physical health and can cause several respiratory and cardiovascular disorders.

Final Statement

Climate change is evident, and it is resulting in dangerous consequences. Most of the factors are causing the problem, and collective efforts are required to combat the problem.
