Why? Because they are aware of how dangerous allopathic drugs are, which makes them concerned about their health. Well, that’s how it should be. Now the question is, how to nitpick the best herbs.

Alright. Please don’t worry about it as I have the list of the best medicinal herbs along with their benefits. Have a look:

Turmeric

Starting with my favorite and most commonly found herb, turmeric. It’s a flowering plant from the ginger family. It’s an anti-cancer herb that is use as a spice to give your food a flavor as well as a distinct color.

Turmeric is said to be effective for congestion, body aches, muscle tension, itching, sneezing, and fever. As a part of an ancient remedy, turmeric paste is applied to all kinds of cuts and burns for immediate relief.

Cumin

Cumin is another flowering plant that comes from the family of Apiaceae. Native to the Irano-Turanian region, turmeric is usually used in the form of seeds; however, some people also prefer it in the grounded form.

It’s an antioxidant that promotes digestion, decreases food-borne illnesses, improves blood sugar control, and provides your body with iron. It is further linked to weight loss as well. Taking grounded cumin in higher doses can help you lose a considerable amount of weight.

Dried Mushrooms

Mushrooms also have plenty of health benefits. Because of all their health benefits, dried mushrooms have been recently legalized in several American and Canadian states. It is said that dried mushrooms are particularly beneficial for one’s mental health.

Yes, it relieves stress and reduces anxiety levels. Not to mention, regular intake of dried mushrooms before bedtime can regulate your sleep and help you get rid of insomnia, which is a severe sleep disorder.

Furthermore, there are various online shroom stores in Canada and the US these days. Thus, I suggest you must give them a try.

Valerian Root

Ranking fourth is valerian root. It’s an herb native to a few parts of Asia and Europe. Generally known as a natural alternative to allopathic sleep-inducing medications, valerian root is a popular natural sedative.

It works best to treat sleep-related conditions like insomnia, hypersonic, and sleep apnea. Apart from that, it is very helpful for children with hyperactive behavior. However, you must  careful when giving valerian root to your child as it may make him drowsy, so the dose must  control.

Ashwagandha

Last but not least, ashwagandha is also a wonderful herb. Also known as winter cherry and poison gooseberry, ashwagandha is an annual evergreen shrub that is native to the Middle East, India, and some parts of Africa.

Ashwagandha, like others mentioned above, brings along many health benefits. It can improve your immune system, lower blood pressure, reduce edema, and help calm the brain. However, high doses of ashwagandha can cause nausea, so you must be careful with it.

All these herbs are magical; trust me. Try them out and you’ll know!
